After 9 long years, Camp Rock 3: World Tour, releasing in summer 2020 following High School Musical 4, is set to bring a bucket of nostalgia for fans all around the world.

Despite how poorly Camp Rock 2 was critiqued, receiving 40% on Rotten Tomatoes, the continued love and enthusiasm of fans of the franchise have fueled the production of the third installment.

“I’m super excited,” says sophomore mega fan Music Musique, “I just love the Jonas Brothers so much and they’re like giving us so many surprises this year. On top of getting back together, which oh my god no one saw coming, they’re making a movie?? I’m gonna die.”

And Musique has well enough reason to be beyond excited. According to director Stevie Bergerking, World Tour is bound to be filled with, “flashy lights, Mitchie’s new romance, guest starring of famous singers, beautiful landscapes, funky songs, Hannah Montana, and a pink poodle.” A rollercoaster-ride-movie-equivalent of a lifetime.

Coming back to the cast are, of course, Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers as mentioned before. However, with a sad heart, Kevin Jonas will not be returning with his brother band. On asked why he would not join the reunion, Kevin tweeted that he, “didn’t feel it was right. No one is going to remember me anyway. There’s just no point.” He has some truth here. As being the only one of the brothers not continue his path in music after the split [with Joe Jonas’ band DNCE and their hit ‘Cake By The Ocean’ and Nick’s solo album debuting as number two on the Billboard top 200] – it seemed that Kevin fell a bit to the wayside.

Camp Rock 3 is sure to be a hit for the whole family, and a new head banging soundtrack to listen to on those long cross country car rides (Pre-order it here). The wait for the Camp Rock Trilogy to finally come together is no more. We’re going to Camp Rock!
