It seems that there is an ever-growing criticism of smartphones and the regular use of them, as well as mounting claims that they have ruined today’s society. I think this is an overreaction. While we should be critical of the large role technology can play in our lives, I don’t believe that all this judgement is deserved. Every new generation is going to be scorned for its new technology and how they use it. In this cartoon, a girl is using her iPhone to have a meaningful conversation.
