COVID-19 has turned the whole Roosevelt community upside down. While we might not be attending school in person, RHS still has many different programs in order to aid its students. 

The Teen Health Center is an incredible resource for Roosevelt Students. While the Health Center has had to change its methods in administering these needs due to COVID 19, the same resources are being provided. Students have access to community and school-based referrals, sports physicals, routine check-ups, reproductive health care, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and flu shots. 

In order to keep students and faculty safe, the Teen Health Center is taking various precautions. Any therapy is done completely online and appointments are by phone. Medical services can be done in person or on the phone. 

Roosevelt’s Teen Health Center is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm for any public school student. Services are by appointment and everyone is required to wear a mask while in the school building and clinic. More information can be found online at https://roosevelths.seattleschools.org

Another way Roosevelt is supporting their students during these difficult times is the Pantry. RHS PTSA volunteers have been running this Pantry every Friday from 12:00-2:00 pm out of Portable #1.

Students can find many things to support their needs in addition to food. Including cleaning products, hygiene items, and school supplies. These items are available to any Roosevelt Student and their family. 

If students are unable to come to the Pantry in person, they can contact Erin Bailey to have a bag of groceries delivered.

Lastly, now that Roosevelt is 100% online many students might encounter trouble with their laptops or need technological support. The tech support team at RHS are available Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
