Teen sex. It occupies the airwaves of high school health classrooms, hallway gossip, and awkward family discussions. However, not everyone is on the same page about how it should be discussed and addressed. One approach to this conversation is found in the progressive movement for “sex positivity,” and it’s an outlook that may bear significance in the Roosevelt High School community.

RHS Provides Sexual Health Resources For Students
In an October survey, The Roosevelt News found that 19.9% of 216 surveyed Roosevelt High School students are or have been sexually active. For these students, and even their non-sexually active peers, there is a multitude of reproductive health services available in the Roosevelt community.
Ethnic Studies Replaces APHG
Starting this school year, Roosevelt removed this course option entirely. In its place, all sophomores are now taking the semester-long Ethnic Studies World History 3 course.

lunch. Her favorite restaurant Roosevelt is Dué Cucina, for its quick customer service and high
quality food.
