The new age of homework help is just at the touch of your palms.
I’m sure you’ve been there, hunched over a desk on the verge of tears because it’s 11 p.m. and you still have at least three hours of work left to do. During these nights of true desperation, there are only so many places to turn to.
With the internet as your last option, you may have scanned a few problems on Photomath. Still, the rest of the school can’t honestly tell you that they haven’t done the same at one point, whether it be with Photomath or some other website they’ve used to help them get through a class.
Navigating the sea of school-related websites can be overwhelming and confusing. To make your life easier, here are some of your best options.
For instance, Quizlet. The website where post-quarantine kids, who type faster than they can think, create notecards and then arrange them into a video game that their brain can comprehend.
Or there’s Photomath, the math app where you can scan problems and reach a solution within seconds. During this, of course, you remain focused, looking attentively and thoughtfully at the many steps it gives you before reaching the answer. It can be a lifesaver for the burnt-out student struggling to get through pre-calculus or an Advanced Placement math class.
And for the aspiring model student, there’s Sparknotes. Here you can make the teacher happy by adding some flashy quotes to your mediocre essay.
Sparknotes is particularly helpful for the busy student who “didn’t have time” to read the chapter. For them, Sparknotes can be their holy grail of chapter summaries. One anonymous student said their favorite was “Sparknotes because I don’t like reading.” Fair enough.
Or maybe you had the time, and you looked at Khan Academy. This website condenses droning textbook chapters into five-minute videos or just similarly tedious articles.
One anonymous student said, “Khan Academy allows me to learn a topic before I learn it in school, which helps make everything easier to understand.”
Just remember, no matter how doomed you may feel, the internet has you covered. Learning to deal with a large homework load can feel overwhelming, but utilizing these resources can make school a little more bearable.
